Our range of Pressure Sore Relief aids are simple and cost effective.Designed to help pressure sores from developing and to give relief to sores already developed. The concept of the design is to avoid contact with the bed / surface, thereby alleviating pressure on the skin. This can help reduce skin breakdown and relieve sites of pressure by redistributing pressure more evenly over a bone prominence. All our products are made using a pressure relieving memory foam. This is supremely soft and comfortable and offers key benefits and features. * conforms to any shape If you are not very mobile e.g. very still in bed, the pressure sore relief aids can be just placed in position by yourself or your carer. If you wish they can be held in position using velcro straps, which are supplied with a strip of memory foam to place under the strap to prevent contact with the skin. Alternatively bandages can be used to hold them in position. Obviously where possible, early mobility and regular movement also play an important role in working to reduce the risk of pressure / bed sores / ulceration.
